Trail Work on Pacific Crest Trail

We're seeking a few dedicated veterans to join the project aimed at improving the Pacific Crest Trail. This is your chance to use your skills, work alongside youth, and make a significant impact on our community. But it's not just about trail work—it's about camaraderie, the healing power of nature, and making lifelong connections.

Details:

• Duration: 6 days, August 1-6, 2024
• Location: North Crater Trailhead to Windigo Pass, Umpqua National Forest
• Training: Short training in the Boulder Creek Wilderness provided in safety, trail skills, and wilderness standards in June or July
• Role: Mentor and work with youth on trail maintenance
• Paid Stipend will be provided
